COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK LANGUAGE STANDARDS
The Turkish Classes offered by the TADDEE are designed according to the “Common European Framework Language Standards”.
|Trainee can understand questions, instructions, basic greetings, routine phrases, basic words and phrases about numbers, prices, times, dates when people speak clearly with a simple language||Trainee can pick out familiar words and understand simple phrases used to give basic personal details,basic information written in short and simple texts such as brochures,short simple messages and questionnaires||Trainee can ask simple questions , can use basic expressions, can indicate numbers, quantities, prices, date and time, can do shopping for daily needs and tell about her/his daily routines with a basic language, can give basic personal information about her/himself, can express whether s/he understand a phrase s/he hears or not||Trainee can fill in a simple questionare, can write simple phrases,sentences and greetings|
|Trainee can understand simple phrases, directions, commands, essential information in simple recorded messages, can identify the main point of tv news items and films, can follow simple directions, can identify the main idea of a discussion around him/her when people speak slowly and clearly||Trainee can understand short simple personal letters, standart writing terms used in written forms, can grasp necessary information of public notices, brochures, can identify the key information in newspaper and magazine reports such as place, time and people||Trainee can ask and answer simple questions in a conversation. Such as buy tickets for public transport systems about a journey, order food, arrange the place and the time for the meeting and can talk about her/himself and her/his family and can introduce other people. Trainee can talk about her/his hobbies and interests, her/his educational background and her/his most recent and present jobs, past activities||Trainee can write texts about her/his daily life with simple sentences, simple letters and structures, can describe an event in simple sentences indicating where and how it happened, can connect simple sentences with conjuctions, can express an event chronologically by using connectors such as ‘after, before, then, first’|
|Traniee can follow an everyday conversation, can catch the main ideas of radio programmes, films, TV programmes and can understand simple technical information such as operating instructions for every day equipment||Traniee can understand a simple text related her/his field of interest and guess the meaning of unknown words in familiar texts. Traniee can identify the main points of a text, can understand the feelings in personal letters, the main point of the news in newspapers, can find relevant information like who has done what and where by skimming the texts such as news summaries||Traniee can maintain a conversation or a discussion but sometimes has difficulties to follow or to say what s/he wants to say. Traniee can readily start, maintain and close conversations on most topics that are familiar or of personal interest.
